Hey Mimi,
Glad you found it helpful! I put my heart and soul into this post as my experience as a plus sized traveler.
If you decide to do it my number 1 tip is yourself the best chance of succeeding by hiring a porter, it makes such a difference not having all the gear on!

I’m on the plus size and also wondering if i can do it. Your blog is wonderful!

In reply to Dalia. No worries! I was honestly so unsure prior to doing this hike if it was something I would physically be able to do! After spent weeks in antigua deciding, watching all these youtube videos to figure out how steep it was, and read all the blog posts, it was finally my spanish teacher and hostel friends who assured me I could do it. You are going to have such an incredible experience
