Hey Kayleigh,
I would book from Flores Peten, as I would imagine this would be the the island of flores, whereas Flores Tikal Airport is the airport on the mainland, a fair way away from Los Amigos. I actually just booked my shuttle through Los Amigos a couple days prior to the journey, they have a travel desk at the hostel just infront of the restaurant where they offer all types of activities and transport. This was a couple dollars more pricey than what my friends found who were shopping around the town for a bargain. But this way you can be 100% confident that you will book the correct departure point, and the driver will even met you at the hostel and walk you to the meeting point in Flores so its super straight forward!

Great Blog! I have a question- we are staying at los amigos and travelling to Semuc Champey. I’ve looked at the bus hire and they have two leaving areas- Flores Peten and Flores Tikal Airport FRS. I’m not 100% confident I’ve found these places on Maps. Could you tell me which one you used please and how long it took you to get there in the morning. Finally was it easier enough to organise?
