Breakfast In Vang Vieng
Whether you plan to spend your day tubing, checking out the nearby viewpoints, splashing in the blue lagoons, or simply relaxing, make sure to start your day right with a delicious breakfast.
Luang Prabang Bakery
Contrary to its name, Luang Prabang Bakery is not in Luang Prabang. It is in Vang Vieng and definitely belongs on this list. It is located in a rather large building and has cabinets full of delicious goodies.
However, if you do not feel like something sweet from the display cabinet, there is also a menu with Western and Asian favorites.
Seriously, the prices here are pretty affordable. You can get an excellent morning coffee for your caffeine fix before you hit the blue lagoons Vang Vieng is famous for. From cheesecakes, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and more!
Of course, it will not be as good as a French bakery in France. Though, thanks to the high French influence in Laos cooking, it is pretty damn close.
It is definitely worth trying Luang Prabang Bakery for breakfast or a quick bite for afternoon tea.

One Of The Local Restaurants
Some excellent local restaurants aren’t listed online. If you are like me and just enjoy eggs cooked with love for breakfast and don’t need anything too fancy then these are a great option.
They are cheap, cheerful, and, most of the time, playing friends on the televisions around the restaurant. Seriously, what more could you want?
Often, they can be some of the best of the bunch since they have been around for a long time catering to us travelers, and they know what we like.
If you are backpacking Laos on a budget, these locally run eateries will be a great option throughout your travels.

They serve many Laotian dishes as well as Western favorites. My partner fell in love with the satay tofu burger here, even though he is usually a meat-eater.
