I personally stayed at Bellas Backpackers in Caye Caulker. It’s worth noting that while there are some mixed reviews online, these often come from travelers unfamiliar with hostel stays who may choose it for its affordability.
Since my last visit, they’ve updated the facility, including adding air conditioning to more dorm rooms—a welcome improvement given the heat. The atmosphere was fantastic, I made a lot of friends and it perfectly suited my needs.
Keep in mind that showers are located in a separate building, not all windows are curtained, and bedding consists merely of a sheet.
